I observed people within the target market for the product in my surroundings and I chose to prioritize comfort of use. I chose simple packaging that is light to carry, has measured quantities of daily dose, is easy to read. I tought that it’s better to make daily packs than adding measuring cup to the vitamins. Regarding the design – I needed something outstanding, that catches the eye – and again by observing where my eyes go to at the shop, I concluded that simple clean designs are what it takes. I wanted to represent older people similarly to how I would represent anyone else, making it including for them but also not ignoring their age. Lastly for the sustainability aspect – thanks to using light aluminum bottles (that are infinitely recyclable) transport of the product produces less CO2. Vitamin supplements are packaged in a cardboard box for bundles and single sachets are made of compostable paper. All of this is plastic free. The labels are permanent adhesive made of semi-gloss paper. The cardboard box is printed all over.

The GENERGISE brand identity was developed following the will to make it attractive as well as informative to the senior consumers, through a label which could be recognizable among others and stimulate the potential buyer’s curiosity.
My work features a self-adhesive twin label, which is composed by a base layer and a second one applied to the first: thanks to a particular adhesive put between the two sides, the twin label can be opened and then be resealed back, improving the customer experience by revealing extra information about the product’s beneficial effects.
This design wanted to pursue the brand’s philosophy by utilizing a deep blue as the dominant color to resemble stability, trust and wisdom, paired with a high-contrast tint — which varies with the type of vitamin in the package — for the pill element, to make it stand out and suggest the opening interaction.
Another interesting element is the big transparent text on the front which makes the actual product visible, as well as a catchy phrase as the first piece of information to attract the senior target.
The sustainability aspect was made tangible by developing a label which could easily be peeled off once the product was fully consumed, to dispose of the different materials with ease. To do so, a small tab has been added to the top right corner, as well as a printed arrow suggesting the peeling motion. The stand-up pouch is also made with 100% biodegradable PET.

It has been chosen to design the label for the glass bottle with the bamboo cap that contains syrup to create an energy drink. The design pretends to be legible and easy to undertand for elder people using sans serif typography.

The GENERGISE brand identity was developed with the desire to make it attractive as well as informative for senior consumers, through a label that could be recognizable among others and stimulate the curiosity of the potential buyer.
The peculiarity of my work lies in the self-adhesive twin label on the front, which is composed of a base layer (the rectangular label) and a second one (the fruit shape) applied on top: thanks to a particular adhesive placed between the two sides, the double label can be opened and then be resealed back, revealing more information about the beneficial effects of the product and thus improving the customer’s experience.
This design wanted to utilize the fruit shape of the corresponding syrup flavor as the main focus point, in order to make this information immediately clear and to highlight the label through a bright-colored shape.
Other elements are simple and straight-forward fonts on a transparent background to keep the text fully readable, as well as a catchy phrase as the first “interaction” with the buyer in order to attract the senior target.
The sustainability aspect was made tangible by developing a label which could easily be peeled off once the product was fully consumed, to stimulate the re-usage of the glass bottle. To do so, a non-sticked corner has been added to the top right, as well as a printed arrow which suggests the peeling motion.
The label is also conceived to be made out of wood pulp, making it 100% compostable.

My proposal aims to involve the target in the project illustrated through a “young and captivating” graphic, which wants to attract a senior public attentive to health and that considers itself in step with the times. The aspect concerning sustainability is predominant: every graphic aspect aims to recall the world of “green” and recycling, in particular in the labels designed for glass bottles where there is a small tab that allows you to separate the paper label from the adhesive for later recycling. Considering the target’s knowledge of the technological world, even the labels designed for the ecological envelopes of vitamin supplements have their purpose: a QRcode is in fact affixed on their surface that allows you to know more about the origin of the products, about the “green” world and also about recycling. Everything aims, as far as possible, to be made using recycled and ecological papers , and, to reiterate the company’s mission, the iconic phrase of the brand “Live life, Sensitive and Sensible” is printed on each label. Finally, speaking of the logo created for “Genergize”, this plays on simplicity (an aspect generally appreciated by the target audience) and on legibility, playing with the shapes of the letters “G” and “E”, and then showing the real name ” Genergize “under the symbol. The small white cloud behind the logo represents the “natural” aspect of the brand, taking up an organic and sinuous shape that recalls the world of sustainability and nature.

WHAT IS IT?
The “Genergise supplements collection” is a range of energy powder products offered in sealed packages with a 200 ml hermetic seal (the third of three collection).

HOW DOES IT LOOK?
The packaging of our supplements is presented with a mix of colors and simple images that evoke at first sight the use and especially the advantages that our customer can have from each according to his needs.

PUBLIC?
Intended for a medium-high age group, the label presents a fruit whose caracteristics and respective advantages will be easily understood (vitamins, calories, etc.)
Necessary informations that can easily and directly reach our customer, based on personal taste and physical needs.
On the back of the packet there are also further details such as its nutritional values, details that will allow our buyers an immediate understanding on its use and will be specified on the back label like the quantity of powder to be diluited in water, the energy intake and the invitation to discover everything about the Fruit supplements collection.
Also unlike the rest of the collection, this one features six exclusive fruity integrators and six more limited edition flavors to try!

WHAT IS IT?
The “Genergise body cream collection” is a range of products based on body lotions presented in 500 ml glass jar (the second of three collection).

HOW DOES IT LOOK?
The packaging of our creams is presented with a mix of colors and simple and immediate images that evoke at first sight the use and especially the advantages that our customer can have from each according to his needs.

PUBLIC?
Intended for a medium-high age group, the label presents on the cap a fruit whose caracteristics and respective advantages will be easily understood (vitamins, texture, fragrance, etc.)
Necessary informations that can easily and directly reach our customer, based on personal taste and physical needs.
On the back of the jar, printed on glass, there are also further details such as its nutritional values, details that will allow our buyers an immediate understanding on its use and will be specified on the back label like the amount of the useful product to be used and how many times per day and the invitation to discover everything about the Fruit body cream collection.

Touch Here fingerprint has a built-in thermal system that will allow us to know what our temperature is just by putting our finger on it.

If cream is needed, the fingerprint will fade and become less visible. If our skin is in an optimal condition, will remain as usual.

Interaction with users is instantly, creating a familiar relationship before opening the jar of cream.

Design

Before starting to design, I have previously done a study on which color is most liked worldwide, also taking into account the different ages. This is how the idea of making labels using a range of blue colors was born.

This range can be extrapolated to other types of products, following a visual, familiar and intuitive line, capable of reaching any type of public, especially older people.

Sustainability

Few inks are used for greater sustainability.

I think that less is more, and we have to be conscious on what our main priorities.
Waste less inks and don’t pollute as much as we can do it.
