I think my label design fits the assignment because the target group included 70+ females, health aware and an urban lifestyle.
The text is placed a bit bigger so that it is easy to read for an older target group.
I chose the pomegranate because it has a rather feminine color palette and because it also radiates healthy food.
For the urban lifestyle I chose geometric ornaments in the background.
For the smart technology I chose to include a digimarc in the photo or in the complete package, which is similar to a QR code and contains a SKU or URL. This should link to an app or site where instructions for use can be found and weekly extra health tips or exercises.
In terms of materials I chose a multi-layered paper bag made out of recyclable monomaterial. This way, the packaging is also sustainable.
